MAIN FUNCTIONS
To execute the receiving and dispatching of all stocks in the store rooms. Pick and save goods mentioned in the goods issue vouchers for verification
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Check the availability of barcodes as per the order
Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.
Check the conformity of goods and ensure it is the same mentioned in the order
Inform Storekeeper concerning any missing items as per the order
Ensure proper material Handling while transporting material
Pick goods mentioned in the Issue vouchers from the piles or shelves
Arrange goods brand-wise
Ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times
Assist supervisors in locating products locations
Replace materials if damaged during transportation
Allocate goods in a way that preserves them and eases transportation and picking
Maintains file of returnable items received from or returned to vendors.
